Musical Satire, an Indian music band, was established and is Led by singer-composer Surojit Majumdar, hailing from the esteemed musical Mazumdar family of Allahabad. Surojit, who commenced composing at age 10, draws inspiration from his family's rich musical legacy, including his grandfather, the late Shri J.D. Mazumdar, a celebrated Hindustani Classical violinist and composer, and his grand uncle, Shri Nalin Mazumdar, who pioneered Hindustani Classical music on the Slide Guitar. Additionally, his uncle, Grammy nominee Pandit Gaurav Mazumdar, is a renowned Sitar maestro. Surojit's father, a santoor player and composer at All India Radio, further enriches his musical upbringing Infusing everyday experiences into his compositions, Surojit collaborates with a talented ensemble of musicians in his band, 'Musical Satire,' to vividly express his musical spectrum.
